The graduates will be eased into teaching gradually without being thrown in at the deep end. From day one, the graduates will be part of a team, receiving intensive support from experienced teachers and mentors. They won’t be teaching classes unsupported until the school thinks they are ready.
Their teaching experience will involve shadowing an experienced teacher, and team-teaching before taking classes on their own.
They will learn the pedagogy of teaching ensuring that they achieve all the teaching standards with evidence before they become qualified teachers.
